Celebrate Bruce Lee’s story—as portrayed through the lens of director Bao Nguyen in the film “Be Water”.

“Be Water” premiered over the summer of 2020, and to mark the occasion of what would have been Lee’s 80th birthday in late November, Ho Chi Minh City-based studio Rice was invited by director Bao Nguyen to created a series posters celebrating Bruce Lee and the film. The design aims to create a sense of tension by using contrasting and opposing ideas—both visually and culturally. A contrast between the iconic aesthetic of Enter the Dragon and a candid photo of Bruce Lee; the contrast between movie icon, and the individual.
